Nominations forms are linked below and are due by April 12th. Awardees will be contacted by April 19th. The award ceremony -- SUNY Erie Celebrates -- will be held on May 16th at 8:00 am at the Admiral Room, 237 Main St., Buffalo. Tickets are on sale now here!

Distinguished Alumni Award
Please nominate an ECC graduate or certificate holder who has achieved success in their chosen career or field of expertise and who has made significant contributions to the community.

Faculty Service Award
The Faculty Service Award recognizes full-time or retired faculty whose extraordinary and creative service has contributed significantly to the college’s mission to meet the needs of a diverse student body and contribute to regional economic vitality by providing high-quality, flexible, affordable and accessible educational programs committed to student success. Recognized activities may include substantial service on a school-wide committee, participation in Workforce Development programs, and/or development/implementation of other college programming that positively impacts ECC and the larger Erie County community.

Staff Service Award
The Staff Service Award recognizes full-time or retired staff member whose extraordinary and creative service has contributed significantly to the college’s mission to meet the needs of a diverse student body and contribute to regional economic vitality by providing high-quality, flexible, affordable and accessible educational programs committed to student success. Recognized activities may include substantial service on a school-wide committee, participation in Workforce Development programs, and/or development/ implementation of other college programming that positively impacts ECC and the larger Erie County community.

Heart of SUNY Erie Student Award
The Heart of SUNY Erie Student Award honors a student or students who demonstrate unconditional, unwavering, and selfless kindness among the ECC community. A Heart of SUNY Erie Award recipient should exemplify traits of generosity, teamwork, compassion, and ethics. Typically, we honor two students each year.

Community Hero Award
The Community Impact Award is given to an Erie County resident whose community-building actions have made a lasting or meaningful contribution to the Erie County community with service or initiatives that are above and beyond the call of duty and would be recognized and valued by the larger community.
